Our commercial customers hire us to come out over and over to help them with heavy site cleanup. Very nice when you can call your junk removal company and leave the "end of the day" clean up to us.
We are set up to make multiple trips to the same site and we are very safety conscious. Like you, we think schedule, schedule, schedule...very important in the commercial construction zone.(s) This is also an area where special attention is needed with regard to chemicals. We will keep you informed if we find something that needs to be disposed off correctly and/or professionally.
We are seeing much more construction activity lately which means much more active construction sites. We often come visit the site weekly and in a real busy schedule with lots of activity we may need to show up daily.
What is acceptable and approved for disposal after you do some heavy lawn work? Grass clippings, heavy dense brush , branches about 2 inches in diameter and approximately 3 feet long. Raw fruit and vegetable scraps are also acceptable as these items are great compost material. Be careful to keep these containers/carts somewhat loose without a deep compaction. In most cases as long as you don’t leave compost material lying around for long periods of time it won’t “compact” too tightly. Remember we are not making “compost bricks” here. BioFine and SoilBuilder are specifically manufactured products that make for excellent soil quality. What to keep out you say?? Rocks plastic items or plastic bags is a big no-no. Processed or cooked food item’s , animal product or animal/pet waste. It may go without saying but utensils and tools. Amazingly we sometimes find garden tools in this pile. Keep the tools out of the disposal area because you may need those tools for the next big job you tackle. Also not accepted are business- generated hazardous waste, barrels, explosives, any type of gas, any type of cylinder radioactive and bio-hazardous material’.
